Transport
The nearest airport to the venue is Innsbruck.
Several airlines serve Innsbruck, particularly during the winter season. All “StarAlliance” carriers serve Innsbruck via Frankfurt or Vienna. Other carriers include BritishAirways, Easyjet, AirBerlin, Transavia.
The nearest train station is “Ötztal Bahnhof” (about 40km west of Innsbruck).
When arriving by train, we recommend that you make this your final destination, before changing to our shuttle bus service. If you arrive by train, heading west, you may need to change trains in Innsbruck, unless your train is already heading for Switzerland or Vorarlberg. If you come from the east, please get off at “Ötztal Bahnhof” Trainstation.
Free ground transport will be provided on March 10th and March 14th. Note, you need to contact “Austria Taxi Tipotsch“ to arrange your transfer!!!

NB: Shuttle busses will run in regular intervals to keep waiting times to a minimum on 10th and 14th March. Transport on other dates will not be covered by the organizers!!!
FROM: (i) Innsbruck Airport (transfer about 90min) or (ii) Ötztal Bahnhof/Trainstation (transfer time about 60min)
Please note that there are two types of trains running by/from Innsbruck to Ötztal Bahnhof. ÖBB Euro or Intercity (EC/IC) or alternatively the regional express trains (REX). Both take you to Ötztal Bahnhof in about 30min. The shuttle will wait/leave outside the train station – you can't miss it.
Public transport will also leave from there, in case you need to get there/leave on other days, but ideally you want to share a cab/taxi.
If you decide to come by car, please be aware that snow chains may be required, depending on the weather conditions!!!
