The conference will be held in Palazzo Viceconte, an early 17th century palace in the centre of Matera. Recently renovated and with probably the best panoramic views over the Sassi and its surroundings, Palazzo Viceconte features beautiful frescoed halls, and offers a conference room equipped with the most modern audio-video facilities.

All registered participants and registered accompanying persons are welcome to these events.

Guided visits to the old town, a cave house and a cave church - at the price of 15 euros/person (min. 10 persons) - could be organized for May 27 (10.00 to 13.00) and May 30 (14.30 to 17.30).
