ABOUT THE COURSE
The EMBO | FEBS course on 'Host-Microbes Interactions' is a highly successful international Summer course gathering 80 students and 16 lecturers . It will cover topics ranging from microbial diversity, bacterial assemblies, metagenomics and RNA-mediated regulation, to cellular microbiology and innate immunity. It will include an EMBO Plenary Lecture on 'Pathogens and commensals at Mucosal Surfaces: from homeostasis to disease', a EMBO YIP Lecture on 'Specificity in the ubiquitin system: learning from bacterial effectors' as well as an EMBO Science Policy Lecture on 'Pathogens, vaccines and society'.
