Programme

We have structured the sessions to encourage wide ranging discussion in both scientific and enabling technology areas. In particular, the impact of time resolved structural methods, single molecule dynamics/catalysis and the unique role of isotope effect measurements in deciphering the physical basis of enzyme catalysis will be important themed sessions at this meeting. These are areas that have enjoyed major developments in recent years and it is timely to hold sessions dedicated to these topics. Implications of mechanistic understanding for medicinal enzymology and biotechnology will be discussed.

  • New frontiers in enzymology
  • Enzyme mechanism and isotope effects
  • Enzyme cofactors
  • Enzyme design and redesign
  • Medicinal and structural enzymology
  • Enzyme Dynamics

Participation
Participants are encouraged to bring posters, which will be on display throughout the conference.  Selected poster topics can be selected for oral presentations, based on poster abstracts. The number of participants is limited to 150.  It is our aim to foster existing and encourage new collaborations in this broad field of enzymology.
