Travel grants

A limited number of grants towards the cost of the participation costs (application fee and economy travel) are available for younger scientists, priority is given to selected participants from: Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Taiwan and Turkey. The identity of recipients will only be decided after the registration deadline of 15th February, based on need and relevance of the applicant’s work to the workshop topic.

Travel grants may also be provided to participants working in labs in the following countries: Africa, Asia (excluding Japan, Singapore, and Korea), South and Central America, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Russian Federation, Serbia and Ukraine.

In addition, there are travel grants available for participants from Italy, and linked to the cooperation agreements with Singapore, and with the National Science Council of Taiwan.
