About the Workshop
Research on redox biology has experienced tremendous advances in the last few years, witnessing a dramatic change in the consieration of reductive/oxidative cellular events from a purely toxicological view to the recognition of their important roles in cell physiology and in particular in signal transduction.
The next goal is to re-evaluate, in this new perspective, the role of oxygen species in pathophysiology, and the involvement of redox-signalling in the very many 'oxidative stress' related human diseases, and in their most relevant predisposing factor: the ageing process.
Key words: ROS;Signal Transduction;
Cancer and Aniogenesis; Degenerative Disorders' Inflammation; Mitochondria; Ageing; Nutrition
Deadline for Registration and Abstract submission: 14th March 2006
Accepted applicants will be informed within one week (21st March 2006)
